Join in for an unforgettable day of oil painting. Immerse yourself in creativity, learn new painting techniques, connect with fellow artists, and leave with inspiration and confidence to begin a regular painting practice.  Ariel will share her techniques for daily painting, in the style of “all prima”, completing a painting, all at once in one sitting.  The workshop will include beginning techniques in oil painting, experimenting with color, values and composition, skill in observation and painting directly from still life. Historic Garden Day is an annual event that allows visitors to explore incredible homes and gorgeous gardens in Downtown Fredericksburg. Artists are invited to sketch and paint during the tours, offering a unique opportunity for guests to see art, creativity and live painting.
